At the heart of CoLinear Acoustics are two brothers whose shared passion for high-fidelity audio has driven them to create exceptional digital signal processing solutions.
Michael and Oliver combine complementary expertise to deliver products that meet the exacting standards of both audio professionals and discerning enthusiasts.
Michael brings analytical precision from his medical background, having led the development of various projects within the healthcare industry as well as working on open- and closed-source embedded firmware projects over the last decade. He is now fully focused on embedded firmware development and digital signal processing for CoLinear Acoustics. His expertise in microcontroller programming and GUI development ensures the DSP-8C delivers both powerful functionality and intuitive operation. His methodical approach to software architecture guarantees reliable, future-proof performance.
Oliver contributes years of dedicated audio engineering experience and a deep understanding of acoustics. Following on from founding the award winning Epiphany Acoustics, he went back to university to read electronic engineering. After developing various projects in and out of the hi-fi industry, he moved to focus on digital signal processing leading to the creation of the DSP-8C to found Colinear Acoustics. His knowledge of component selection, signal pathways, and system optimization has shaped every aspect of the DSP-8C's hardware design. His focus on real-world audio performance ensures the technical specifications translate into exceptional listening experiences.
